An exhibition of William Eggleston's work is on at the Victoria Miro Gallery in London, from 15th of January until the 27th of February and at Cheim and Read in New York from 7th January until 13th of February. See a film about him here.

still i was lucky to see some of his work in munich a couple of years ago.. it's so impressive to see it LIVE, not as a reproduction. he's great.
