Another Soho delight.
Bob Bob Ricard on Beak Street. It's really rather special. Imagine anything from Macaroni Cheese and Hamburgers to Beluga Caviar and Chateaubriand, or Raspberry Ripple milkshake and Hot Chocolate to Pear Bellini and Russian vintage vodka shots. The interior is delightfully decadent, inspired by the style of the Orient Express, the service friendly and helpful. It's open for brunch on the weekends, and goes through to dinner via English afternoon tea. You might have guessed that the owners are both Russian and English. It's an interesting and unusual fusion. The prices go right across the board, so you need to be aware, but it's definitely worth the visit. We've been back more than once.

That sounds like such a fun place to dine. I love the Russian places here in New York-the food and decor are always both decadent yet comforting and everyone is welcome.
ReplyDeleteIt's true!
ReplyDeleteI've been put off by AA Gill's review of this place but a lot of people told me it's good, must try it out!
ReplyDeleteIt is good. It's very different to our usual Soho hangouts, but I think you'd appreciate it.
