Beautiful documentary series.
So inspiring and special. We've seen the ones on Francis Mallman and Massimo Bottura so far and are completely in love! This is like no other foodie film or programme that we've seen. It's pure art and passion in every way. See more here.

Sixto Rodriguez in concert at the Roundhouse
We wrote about Rodriguez in August, after seeing the film Searching for Sugar Man. (see trailer above.)
Last night we saw the great man in concert. What a man! He still looks and sounds like a star. A true original. A man with soul!!

Oma & Bella
Oma and Bella is a film about two friends and Holocaust survivors who live together in Berlin. The film is made by Oma's grandaughter Alexa Karolinski, who follows the two wonderful ladies during their daily lives, where they talk, amongst other things, about the food that they cook together that bonds them to their memories, identity and childhood. This all culminates in the most beautifully designed cookbook. See the trailer to the film and more about the cookbook here.

This is beautiful!
For six hours each day, Bermuda's Johnny Barnes stands at a busy traffic intersection telling all who pass that he loves them. HIs delight and sincerity are infectious and the people of the island love him back. His service is a simple reminder of the power of happiness and loving kindness to change any day for the better. Watch the video here and you'll most certainly be moved.
