Temple Guiting Manor

Imagine that you wanted to have a very special weekend away. Imagine that you wanted to find a beautiful old manor house that was rich in history. Imagine that it was once home to the Knights of the Templar and even mentioned in the Doomsday book. But then, even though you wanted to be in a historical setting, you really wanted to have all of the modern comforts. We think that we've found just the place. it's called Temple Guiting Manor. Set in the beautiful Cotswolds countryside and sitting in 14 acres of land. It's a dream come true. They even have a separate newly converted barn that can be rented out separately which is just divine! you can read more about it here and read a review in Mr. and Mrs. Smith. oh, by the way, they also have joined up with Sophie Conran for bespoke country house parties. Read about them here.

  2. We did. It's owned by friends of ours, so we've seen how it developed from a family home into this special place. They've put a lot of love into it. They're doing a wedding there on the weekend. I'm sure that'll be gorgeous!

  6. ohhh it seems quite unbelievable - to stay in a place like this! it's like being in a film. or a book.
but - hey - these armchairs (2nd picture from above) - they look very similar to mine! :)
